Alejandro Acien [Email]

Alejandro Acien received the MSc in Electrical Engineering in 2015 from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. In October 2016, he joined the Biometric Recognition Group - ATVS at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, where he is currently collaborating as an assistant researcher pursuing the PhD degree. The research activities he is currently working in Behaviour Biometrics, Human-Machine Interaction, Cognitive Biometric Authentication, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Javier Hernández-Ortega received the MSc in Electrical Engineering in 2015 from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. In June 2016, he joined the Biometric Recognition Group - ATVS at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, where he is currently working as an assistant researcher pursuing the PhD degree. The research activities he is currently interested in include Biometrics based on Human-Computer Interaction, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning.

Ruben Tolosana received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2014 from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. In April 2014, he joined the Biometrics and Data Pattern Analytics (BiDA) Lab - ATVS at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, where he is currently collaborating as an assistant researcher pursuing the Ph.D. degree. In 2015 he was awarded with a FPU research fellowship from Spanish MECD. His research interests are mainly focused on signal and image processing, pattern recognition, deep learning, and biometrics, particularly in the areas of handwriting and handwritten signature. He is author of several publications and also collaborates as a reviewer in many different international conferences (e.g. ICDAR and ICB) and high-impact journals (e.g. IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics and International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence). Finally, he has participated in several National and European projects focused on the deployment of biometric security through the world.

Ivan Bartolome received a 2-year degree in Information Systems and IT Management in 2016. He is now studying Computer Engineering at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
