We recommend that you stay in the following neighborhoods in which there is direct access to Universidad Aut�noma de Madrid using public transportation.
Chamart�n. Train station of Chamart�n. Line C4 of Cercan�as. 11 minutes to Universidad Aut�noma de Madrid. 9 minutes to Sol train station, downtown Madrid. Several other lines. The main advantage of this neighborhood is that it is very close to the MLSS venue. The downside is that is probably less fun to stay here than downtown Madrid. However, it is very well connected to other parts of the city using the Metro system.
Nuevos Ministerios. Nuevos Ministerios train station. Line C4 of Cercan�as. 16 minutes to Universidad Aut�noma de Madrid. This is a nice neigborhood that is between Charat�n and Sol. Very close to Paseo de la Castellana. A nice intermediate location between the venue of the MLSS and downtown Madrid. It is also very well connected to other parts of the city using the Metro system.
Sol. Sol train station. Line C4 of Cercan�as. 20 minutes to Universidad Aut�noma de Madrid. This is a nice neigborhood that is downtown Madrid and not very far from Universidad Aut�noma de Madrid. It is very close to most of the turistic landmarks of Madrid, including the Royal Palace or the Opera house. Very well connected to other parts of the city using the Metro system.
Atocha-Retiro. Atocha train station. Line C4 of Cercan�as. 24 minutes to Universidad Aut�noma de Madrid. This is a nice neigborhood that is also downtown Madrid. It is slightly further from the venue than the previous neiborhoods. It is also very close to some of the turistic landmarks of Madrid, including the Prado Museum and the Buen Retiro park. Very well connected to other parts of the city using the Metro system.
